Lyle Anderson's journey in the endurance sports world is truly inspiring, and the amazing thing about it is that talking to him and interacting with him you would never know that for the past 10 years he has been dealing with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).  I truly could have spoken with Lyle for another 3 hours because he has done so much and I was captivated by all of his stories.

During the interview, Lyle mentioned a video that was submitted to Iron Man so that he could take part in the Iron Man Championship Race in Kona, Hawaii.  Below, please see the link to that video:

I had the honor of speaking with Kami Ellsworth about her management of the St. George Marathon.  When I initially came up with the idea for the podcast I thought it would be fun to speak with race directors about their specific races and the work and passion that goes in to creating such a large scale event.  Kami did not disappoint.  It was amazing seeing the event from her perspective.  Enjoy!

Hayden recaps his magical 2016 year of trail running.  It was an honor to be able to speak with him and get an inside look into the world of elite trail running.  This episode shows where your passions can take you, and Hayden had the honor of competing for Team USA in the World Championships of Trail Running.  He is truly a remarkable individual.  In Hayden's honor lets do our best to support getting trail running back to being an olympic sport.  Use the hashtags #mountainrunning #olympicdreams when discussing running on twitter and instagram.  Enjoy the podcast!

On December 5th I had the pleasure of discussing the running culture of St. George, Utah, with Katie Guisinger.  Katie gave heartfelt answers as to why she loves the sport of running and she was truly gracious with her time...  Especially since my podcast equipment decided to turn on me and not work for apparently no reason whatsoever.  But, true to the supporting nature of all runners, Katie was patient with me and let me run to the nearest supermarket to get what I needed.  It's no surprise to me why Katie is such a rockstar in the blogging community, and it was great hearing about her experiences.  Enjoy!

On December 1st I had the privilege to get on a phone call with Dana Ayers to chat with her about her book: "Confessions of an Unlikely Runner."  For someone who claims to not really be a "runner," Dana has had some remarkable adventures and her book was a hilarious ride from cover to cover.  We discuss everything from her unique take on cross-training, to pre-race rituals, to the snow that fell off my roof and made the loudest sound ever.  Enjoy!

Jared Ward, 2016 Olympian, and 6th place finisher in the Men's Marathon in the Summer Olympics in Rio, sits down to chat in Man Bun Run's first ever episode.  Jared discusses his early days as a cross country athlete and how his path led him to compete at the highest levels of his chosen sport.

Show Notes: This was exciting. Jared's love of running clearly shines through in this interview and it was amazing being able to hear first hand his stories about training up to the Olympics and how much he enjoyed being there and a part of Team USA.
